Attending Pilates improves core strength by engaging the deep abdominal muscles through each move. This builds a strong foundation to support your back which is further strengthened by improving flexibility through the entire spine. Working from the core helps muscles work in sequential order to improve overall strength, aiding balance and correcting posture. This is critical in many sports to reduce injury and better sporting technique.
